What does poverty look like in our community, and how can stories help us understand the realities behind it? As part of Poverty Awareness Month 2026, Pathways of Poverty invites the Stony Plain community to come together for an evening of storytelling, food, and meaningful table talk. Through powerful stories brought to life by KaRAR Performing Arts, guests will have the opportunity to explore different paths and experiences of poverty while gaining a deeper understanding of housing security in the community. Attendees will have the chance to share a meal and take part in thoughtful conversations about an issue that affects real people and families.
