Presented as part of Calgary’s first dedicated Latin American film festival, this screening brings stories from Latin America to Calgary audiences, fostering cultural connection & dialogue through film. *Children of Las Brisas* follows three young musicians from the Las Brisas neighbourhood of Valencia, Venezuela, as they pursue their dreams within the National Orchestra System over the course of a decade. Their resilience, determination & love for music paint a moving portrait of hope, resistance & perseverance in the face of social & political challenges.
