Join the 108th Annual Skaro Shrine Pilgrimage at Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto in Skaro, Alberta, a deeply rooted spiritual gathering held August 14–15, 2026. Each year thousands of pilgrims come together to honour the Blessed Virgin Mary through prayer, hymns, and reflection at this historic site built in 1919 by Polish immigrants who transported 600 wagonloads of stone to create the shrine. The two-day program begins Friday evening with Reconciliation, Rosary, Vespers, and Mass at the Grotto, followed by a candlelight procession of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction. On Saturday, the Solemnity of the Assumption is celebrated with a morning Mass and Sacrament of the Sick.
