River Valley Walk | Terwillegar Park

Description

Join a guided walk through Edmonton’s river valley at Terwillegar Park as part of a three-part seasonal series. This walk invites participants to discover the urban park system while walking scenic trails with a knowledgeable guide. Explore local geology, plants, wildlife, and river valley history with Connor Thompson, PhD candidate at the University of Alberta. The experience is designed as a relaxed two-hour outdoor exploration connecting learning and nature in one of Edmonton’s most loved green spaces. This is a small group experience with limited spaces; please cancel if you cannot attend so others on the waitlist can join. Please wear sturdy walking shoes and dress for changing weather conditions. Bring water, a snack, insect repellent, and an extra layer in case of wind or light rain. An outdoor experience connecting nature, education, and community in one of Edmonton’s green spaces. #gozeeit #thingstodo #thingstodinedmonton #edmonton #naturewalk
