Join acclaimed contemporary artist Patty Chang for an engaging afternoon of artistic exploration and thought-provoking discussion at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. Working across performance, video, photography, text, and sculpture, Chang has earned international recognition for creating works that connect personal experiences with larger environmental, social, and historical systems. During this special lecture, she will share insights into several of her notable projects, including explorations of human-engineered water systems, the emotional dimensions of scientific research, and the complex histories linking porcelain production, migration, labor, and the ocean.
