Play Cafe & Toy Library is a free weekly community program held every Thursday morning at The Salvation Army Edmonton Temple in Edmonton, Alberta, designed for families and caregivers with children ages 0–6. This welcoming indoor play space offers a relaxed environment where parents can enjoy coffee, conversation, and connection while children engage in safe, creative play using a variety of toys. The program encourages early childhood socialization, allowing young children to make friends and explore through play in a supportive setting. In addition to the play cafe, families can access the Toy Library service, which allows toys to be borrowed and taken home for a two-week period with a small annual membership fee.
