Infant & Child Developmental Drop-in
Description
A supportive community drop-in session takes place at the Okotoks Public Library, offering parents and caregivers a welcoming space to explore early childhood development with professional guidance. Designed for families with children aged 0–5, this free program is facilitated by Alberta Health Services and McMan Youth, Family & Community Services Association, bringing together a Pediatric Speech Language Therapist and Early Childhood Educator to answer questions and support developmental understanding. Parents can learn more about key milestones in speech, language, motor skills, social development, eating, routines, and self-help skills while their children engage in a relaxed play-based environment. The session also provides access to helpful screening tools and practical advice tailored to everyday parenting challenges. #okotoks #parenting #childdevelopment #earlylearning #family #health #community #workshop #gozeeit #thingstodo #thingstodinokotoks
