Celebrate the sound of summer at the Markham Jazz Festival, a free two-day outdoor music celebration set in the charming historic streets of Unionville. Featuring more than 30 live performances across three intimate stages, the festival brings together award-winning Canadian and international artists performing jazz, blues, soul, R&B, Afro-Cuban, salsa, reggae, and world music. From midday until late evening, visitors can enjoy a lively mix of established headliners and emerging talent, including vocal jazz, funk, and modern jazz performances curated by JUNO-winning Artistic Director Ernesto Cervini. Alongside the music, guests can explore local food vendors, craft stalls, and “Hot Spot” venues where restaurants and bars host additional performances.
